KAREN LANDSCAPING SERVICES LTD. was formed in the year 1990. It was registered by the Director John K. Wainaina in the year 2000 and who had by then acquired adequate training and experience as far as landscaping and environmental issues are concerned.

Since its inception, the company has progressively handled a wide range of projects of all magnitudes ranging from residential compounds, institutions, hospitals, office blocks, hotels among others. It is the firm’s policy to work closely with other professionals and to consult the client in any given project in order to achieve the desired results in the most efficient way.

We have an elaborate work process that we follow for every project to ensure quality works and successfully implementation.
Inception

Advice the client on the services, duties and fees. Receive preliminary brief and conduct a site analysis.

Preliminary Sketch

Prepare presentable preliminary sketch design drawings with descriptions and illustrations showing spatial organization.

Scheme Design

Final design consisting of scaled drawings with general specifications indicating precise spatial arrangements and materials.

Production of Working Drawings

Planting plan and specifications, landscape engineering plan, layout plan, irrigation plan, and lighting plan.

Design Details & Tender Docs

Landscape elements construction details, bills of quantities, ensure drawings and specifications from other consultants’ tally with those of the landscape architect.

Construction & Project Implementation

Preparation of work schedule programme. Interpretation of drawings & implementation of designed landscape works on site.
